You know, the thing where, as you’re putting something in a place, you know, that later you won’t be able to remember that you put it there.

I, um, I literally, uh, just had my eye doctor appointment.

I’m putting my contact lenses, uh, rebate form in a specific place in my office, but there’s no place to put the paperwork you need for your contact lens rebate.

I have to wait until I get the contact lenses in the mail.

So there’s no great spot.

So I’m just telling you here on my podcast, in case I ever forget that the paperwork for my rebate is behind my clock, uh, on my desk, but organizer in my office, that’s where it is.

That’s where the rebate forms are.

Now we all know.

So now none of us will forget.

Let’s do a show.

Although I have a finite amount of time to do this episode.

So it’s going to be shorter.

Your daily Lex.

You know, it’s not going to be shorter though me cause I’m tall.

And here’s an interesting thing about the fact that I’m tall.

So, uh, in 2003, March of 2003, I had LASIK and as I’ve talked about on the show, I’m sure it lasted really well for 10 years.

And then, uh, my vision started slipping a little bit.

Like my night vision got worse and then I needed to draw glasses to drive.

And then I eventually needed glasses slash contacts all the time, which is what I do now.

Uh, for years, my eye doctor has said that once I need reading glasses, I could get a touch up on the LASIK and that it’s much better now.

It’s not that the lasers are better.

It’s that the software, the powers, the lasers are better.

Great.

Makes sense.

But it’s like, if I, if you get it done now, you’re you’ll need reading glasses and right now you don’t need reading glasses.

So wait until you need reading glasses and then get LASIK.

Okay, fine.

Sure.

But I keep not needing reading glasses.

I’m 43 years old.

And I said to him, is there, is it just luck of the draw that I don’t need reading glasses right now?

Like, is that, is that why it’s actually, it is sort of luck, but not for the reason you think it’s because you’re tall said.

I have noted that tall people tend to hold stuff out to read at a longer length, just because the length of their arms, which makes their eyes work less hard, which means that their vision lasts better, longer for reading in many cases.

So how about that?

Tall people don’t need reading glasses.

Stick that in your reading glasses, pipe and smoke it.

I don’t know.

I don’t know if there is a reading glasses pipe, but there should be.

Don’t you agree?

I think so.

Um, I have so many topics on my list of topics to cover topics that I’m excited to get into it.

Like I said, I’m pressed for time.

And so average this one out with a 10 minute episode.

I did it before or twice this week.

And, uh, hopefully it all works out to being normal length episodes.

Uh, you’re the greatest.

Thanks for listening to your daily Lex brought to you by Lex Friedman Lex.
