This past Friday, I told the story of the lady who crashed into my car on Peripheral Road at Brandeis University I said I’m telling this story because I’ve never told it on this podcast before and as many many many of you Let me know I did indeed tell that story before on this podcast I knew as I was recording it that I had told that story before I I had memory of it as I was telling it I paused I was like I’m sure I told the story and so I looked and searched and didn’t find it, but indeed it happened Most recently it came up on the show this past August And yeah, I’m old and so sometimes I repeat myself also, I’m old and sometimes I repeat myself Your Daily Lex But you know a story I’ve never told before I’ve never told the story of this past weekend because this past weekend just happened So it’s new to you and new to me Had two miseries this weekend plus the the invited dress so really three miseries I guess you could say and they all went really well.

I was very pleased my fall went well the The stuff went well most of the technical stuff on every time we do live theater.

There’s some technical mess-up I mean, I guess it’s not always true, but it’s not infrequent and since we’re using a rotating stage there was a moment in our second show where I Guess for a scene between the buster the police officer and Annie Wilkes they hadn’t rotated the stage quite enough so those two actors were not really on stage so they didn’t start and they had to rotate the stage more to get them into the right position and the audience did one of those Claps those sarcastic claps like when somebody like a waiter drops the glass to the restaurant or whatever Not much of the audience but you know a handful of people, you know I said that clap and I was like really you’ve come along for us on this ride this whole show thus far You’ve seen how hard we’re working you’re enjoying the show and you’re gonna do the sarcastic clap Because they didn’t rotate the stage enough at first, but it was fine.

The audiences really were gobbling it up.

They really They they like I said, they came along for the ride They were they were shocked at some of Annie’s mistreatment of me and blah blah blah And what I really appreciated is they they laughed at funny stuff.

They laughed at stuff We knew it’s funny and they even occasionally lasted stuff.

We didn’t know it’s funny, but you know, that’s allowed to be funny So it’s fun.

It went really well Thanks to all my friends and family etc who went My younger two kids did not go because they thought it was too scary My youngest Liam is still my youngest but it’s slightly older than he was yesterday because today is his 13th birthday So good job Liam for aging successfully I had mentioned in my bio that he and I have a new album out that people should check out I also mentioned to connections puzzles and this very podcast and Sierra was like really Liam gets mentioned twice in the bio because then I also thanked everybody in my family by name But I only get mentioned once and I told Sierra she had to make an album with me and that’s that’s all there is to it And she said she wanted to know why I didn’t mention that she was appearing in film on the roof soon She was saying that as a joke.

It was funny.

Anyway, so that went well And then last night was Sunday night and the show had been in the afternoon So we all went out to dinner to celebrate Liam’s birthday.

We went to this kosher steakhouse place.

That’s not Crazily far from the house.

I went straight from the theater.

It was about a half an hour and Since I thought you would be interested in how long it took me to drive there We let Liam order a platter that he and I had once shared at that restaurant that is an extremely overpriced plate Oh meat it’s got brisket and Beef ribs and another kind of meat that I can’t remember and another kind of meat and it also comes with fries, of course and then random vegetables and He really wanted to eat the whole thing and he got about 75 maybe 80% of the way through and then he had to give Then we took the rest home, of course, but man watching your Just about 13 year old son Go to town on a giant slab of meat.

It’s quite funny.

And we’re like, hey, do you want dessert?

He’s like no He had gotten a little full Anyway, that’s that stories.

I never told you before.

You’re welcome.

Enjoy the rest of your Monday, February 26th Also known as Liam’s birthday.
