guess I’m gonna be growing my beard for a little while because I did decide to accept the role in Fiddler on the Roof as Lazer and my daughter Sierra will be the Fiddler and my wife Lauren will be the main guy’s wife Tevye’s wife Golda so she’ll be playing the wife of somebody else who is in his 70s ha ha ha good times Your Daily Lex and so because of all that I am gonna be growing out a beard for a while I was hoping to either get the role of Tevye or not get cast in which case I could grow the beard knowing I was doing Tevye or shave the beard because I find it annoying and itchy but I did say and meant it that I would also play this it feels like this is my my warm-up act for one day playing Tevye I guess I just have to be a little bit older people like to cast Tevye as very old even though chronologically he should not be by the era historically let’s say but you know so I was thinking you know in the shower recently since I have this freaking beard that’s only getting longer I had been you know using shampoo or conditioner on it because it’s hair just happens to be on my face and then I was like I should Google that and the Internet’s like never do that because your face hair has different needs than your head hair I don’t know if it’s true or not but I know that my beard is dry and itchy and they say that that makes it worse so I’ve now ordered freaking beer conditioner and beard balm whatever beard balm with an L not beard balm like my face is gonna explode I mean it’s explosively handsome but I can’t help that so yeah I’m growing it out for a while and I’m in the stage right now where like you can still see some cheek skin I’m talking about my face cheeks get your mind out of the gutter people but I believe as it keeps growing in it’s not like it like it’s patchy it’s just you know there’s individual hairs individual hair follicles and so it’s growing and because it’s not thicker yet you can still see my face under the beard but I feel like at some point some beards are fully face covering which is what I expect will happen to me but oh we’ll find out obviously I still remain curious about how the show will go and hopefully they can find more men because they need several more for various roles and blah blah blah I also have the joy of in the not-too-distant future going to see in a couple months 1776 because a bunch of my friends are in it and it’ll be the manyth time I didn’t count the manyth time that I go to see a show that I auditioned for but wasn’t cast in which is fine sometimes you go and you’re like I could have done that better and other times I can be I get it I couldn’t have done what that person did I will admit that’s rarer for me uh-huh no it happens but sometimes it’s you know difficult painful emotional hard to watch a show that you kind of wish you were in or that you would have had fun doing whatever part but it’s okay especially when you’re supporting friends then it’s you know more fun than not I remember one time in my mid-roll days when I was selling podcast ads over there you know you had to get approvals for every ad because hosts don’t want to read ads for things they are uncomfortable advertising which makes sense also makes the job of selling those ads a little harder but one thing that nobody ever turned down was tuning campaigns meaning campaigns for advertising a TV show so check out this new show streaming on Netflix or whatever and I had a host rejected I was like really why don’t you want to do this and he’s like well I auditioned for that show it didn’t get cast on it so I don’t really want to promote it I was like I get that I got it then and I get it now no problem Paul F Tompkins anyway that’s all I have for today Thursday March 6 hope you’re having a great day and that your face is less itchy than mine Lex
