Scrappy Episode
I’m having issues recording Your Daily Life today, so you get this scrappy version because I want to put out an episode even though I’m having challenges.
It’s not going to sound as good.
Doo doo doo doo doo, your doo doo doo doo doo daily doo doo doo doo doo, Lex doo doo doo doo doo.
All right.
So this is the first full week of school for everybody in the house, which means that now Monday, Wednesday, Friday, the house is empty for big chunks of the day.
There were certainly plenty of times when the house was empty in the summer as well, but it wasn’t like guaranteed empty in certain ranges.
And so there’s one big difference between how I work from home on the days where I know the house is empty versus days when it’s not.
And that big difference is, I leave the door open to the office.
Otherwise it’s closed because I’m doing a lot of calls and I don’t want the family to be on eggshells or tiptoe or anything else.
So I’m constantly closing the door whenever I’m here so that they aren’t bleeding into calls and so I’m not distracted by them.
Like I don’t want to hear all the conversations and whatnot because I want to stay focused on the work.
So now it’s open door time, which means more animals come in and out.
And sometimes the animals are seen on my camera while I’m video chatting and I never acknowledge them when I’m on video and most people on the other end do.
Hey, I saw a dog or did I just see a cat?
Yes, yes we did.
Let’s see.
Rehearsals start up anew for the show that I’m currently doing, A Man of No Importance.
I still barely feel like I’m in the show because we just haven’t had all that many rehearsals.
I’m going to have to miss some more rehearsals next week because of my surgery, which is a week from tomorrow.
My list of questions for the doctor who I see later this week has grown considerably.
I’m now up to 15 questions I’m going to be putting before the doctor.
So I hope he’s in a patient mood that day.
See what I did there?
I didn’t even try to make the plan.
It just happened.
Anyway, I know it’s only two minutes or so, but that’s all I got because I’m rushed since I’ve tried multiple times to get this episode done.
I think all I have to do is restart my computer, but I’m not ready to do that yet.
So for now you get this scrappy episode.
Thank you.
You’re wonderful.
Goodbye.
Lex, doo doo doo doo doo.
