This is approximately my ninth time trying to record this episode.

I’m having a lot of technical issues and I’m starting to lose my mind because I can’t fix it.YourdailyLexThose technical issues aren’t the point of this episode and are likely going to attack me again, but we’re going to get as much out as we can.

This is going to be a shorter episode than normal.

Anyway, it was a lovely weekend because it was Ani’s 19th birthday.

And it wasn’t just Ani’s 19th birthday, it was also visiting weekend at Emerson.

So we got to go see them at Emerson and it was their birthday all at the same time.

So very exciting overlap.

Just a nice little coincidence.

What was not fun, however, was the drive to and from Boston.

It took seven and a half hours getting there and it took eight hours getting home.

Why did it take so long getting there?

It shouldn’t take that long.

But the biggest issue was we couldn’t leave until after school for Sierra.

Sierra joined us.

Liam stayed with his grandparents because he had a band competition at MetLife Stadium.

He did.

He was probably the most successful person to compete at MetLife Stadium in a long time since the Jets and Giants are terrible.

But anyway, we had to wait for Sierra to finish school.

She wasn’t willing to leave school early because her two AP classes are at the end of the day.

And she’s like, I can’t miss those.

So fine.

So we wait.

And when we left, we got to go through like all the rush hour things and getting through Connecticut took forever.

We drove through most of Connecticut at about 20 miles an hour, which is horrendous.

Then in Boston, half the streets we needed were closed.

Get to the hotel.

At one point, an emergency vehicle wanted to come where I was and I was in a one way thing.

It wanted to go the other way.

So they wanted me to reverse back into an intersection where I had just turned left.

And they’re annoyed that I won’t do it faster.

But like I’m going into an active intersection backwards where cars aren’t acknowledging that that’s what’s happening.

It was fine, but it also sucked.

But anyway, seeing Ani was awesome.

I got to spend some time at Emerson.

We also got to take Sierra to go tour Boston University, which she really wanted to do.

Got to take Ani out for three meals that weren’t campus meals and the food there is good.

But still, we got to do that, too.

So it was great.

Anyway, I need to be done with this episode.

I have so much to do that got delayed by the 20 minutes I spent working on this episode.

So here is your fake ending, Lex.
